I realize I haven’t posted a serious picture in a while. I’m really, how hard is it to take a picture of a sign. There’s no forethought or deep thinking involved in sussing out a meaning. I’ve shot them though because they put a smile on my face. And for now, that’s reason enough.

Combine Santa, the perfect time of day, Christmas lights and off-camera flash balanced with the ambient light at the airport…. Merry Christmas indeed.

With Santa on hand, Central Nebraska’s love affair with the Luebbe lights began anew at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport on Dec. 3, 2008. The first Christmas Lighting at the airport saw the Christmas lights that used to attract holiday visitors to Roger and Barb Luebbe’s home east of Grand Island for nearly 20 years shine in their new home.
