Spent some time on the floor of the arena before it occurred to me to get up high – because I could. Then it was only a matter of waiting, and waiting, and waiting and waiting until one of the kids was in the right place with no one else in the frame. As someone once said, “It’s no accident that photography and patience both begin with a “P”.

Preparing for the Knight fundraiser at the Heartland Events Center, Grand Island Central Catholic seniors, including Kylee Flaherty (top), set the tables on the events center floor for the gourmet meal to come. This is the first year for the event to be held in the events center instead of the Fonner Park concourse.
