We’ve got a little blog we put together filled with videos, articles and photos taken during the Homebuilder Blitz to build a Habitat for Humanity house within one week. Check it out!

What the heck is that?

I came across some spiffy software last week called Cover It Live. It’s a liveblogging thing that would allow journos to give a unique perspective to certain events such as state basketball, or political debates, or maybe even fiery city council meetings. Wacky weather

I shot that video on my way to work this morning for use in our newscast this morning. And then I went home for lunch and was gobsmacked at the crystal clear blue skies and definite lack of storm. I don’t get a chance to peep out the [...]

Website status

I got a call in the middle of the night and it was the copy desk telling me they were having problems loading the website. They tell me where they are having problems and at first it sounded like an easy fix. So I walked them through what should be done and… it didn’t work.
I [...]

Happy New Year

Here it is, a new year and new changes will be happening to us in the coming year as we transition to our new company.  I just want to give fair warning that there could be some bumps in the road as we learn new tools and rebuild our website using those tools.
One of the [...]
