We’re at it again! We’re starting off with a 256-song bracket covering four time periods on July 17th, and by September 4th, we will have discovered Central Nebraska’s favorite song. There will be coverage in print and here online so watch both!

You might be asking how we came up with the songs in the bracket. Well, you will get your chance to ask the guys who made the lists on July 17th. After you vote, join George Ayoub, Pete Letheby, Mark Coddington, and Jack Sheard in a live chat and talk about their choices, and your guesses on which song will be the Central Nebraska’s favorite. The live blog will be up and running all day on the 17th, and we will run a new discussion each week when a new set of votes begin (usually on Thursdays). All four guys might not be in the room all day each time, but someone will be there.

We’ll also have videos of the guys discussing their picks, which songs might be sleepers, and which ones could make it to the end.

And finally, if you are looking through the songs and find one you can’t quite remember, or don’t recognize it, we have scoured YouTube and found video clips of each and every song in the bracket. There are some AWESOME vintage clips, live performances, and nostalgic videos in here, so this section is worth a visit even if you don’t vote.
