Website status

I got a call in the middle of the night and it was the copy desk telling me they were having problems loading the website. They tell me where they are having problems and at first it sounded like an easy fix. So I walked them through what should be done and… it didn’t work.

I tried to fix the site from home to no avail. When I arrived at work this morning, I still couldn’t fix it. I don’t even know what’s wrong with it. This means I have to involve our tech support folks down in Georgia.

Long story short, it’s just gone 10am and our website is still showing yesterday’s stories. The software that’s broken is quite vital to loading the website AND changing today’s post-it note dropdown. So until I hear from our tech support, I’m in a sort of holding pattern until they can trace the error.

So if you’re looking for today’s stories, I do apologize but I can’t load them on the site until we get this software fixed, and I do not currently have an estimate on how long it will take. Thank you for your patience though and I will update this blog periodically until we get it fixed.
