Be sure to watch the paper this weekend and over New Year’s. We’ll be including each reporter’s top 10 stories for 2007 as well as the top 10 national and state stories. new Year’s eve we will announce The Independent’s Woman of the Year and Man of the Year will be announced on New Year’s Day.  (So yes, there will be a paper on New Year’s Day, in case you were wondering. I know my Grandma was.)

I’ve been out of the office most of this week so apologies for the lack of posts. Holidays you know

So apart from producing NewsLink today, I’ve been getting caught up with both work and what everyone did for Christmas So far there have been trips out of town to visit relatives, trips to Vegas, car accidents and engagements.  So, a busy few days for Indy employees. Now everyone is settling back into the post-holiday routine and gearing up for the new year.

I hope everyone out there had a lovely holiday and we’ll be back with more inside the newsroom next week.
