Here’s a few things we’ve got in the works as he wind down 2007 and gear up for 2008.
We have a new Simply Cooking recipe up this week: Christmas Rice. I know what you’re thinking. Rice? Christmas? Weird! But watch the video with the fabulous Mitzi Stinson and judge for yourself. It looks yummy to me.
The Independent’s new videographer, Denton Cushing went along for a tour of the soon-to-be-opened Law Enforcement Center. If you’re curious about what it will be like you can check out his video.
The news department is working hard on their year-in-review stories so be sure to watch the paper for that. I’m not sure when that will publish yet, but I’ll keep you posted. Our editors are also working on choosing the 2007 Man and Woman of the Year and I believe that will publish around New Year’s Day.
And in case you did not know, the Independent will not be putting out a paper on Christmas Day.
