Post-Callahan
As you can imagine, Thanksgiving weekend was pretty news-heavy, at least in the Nebraska sports world. A whipping by Colorado on Friday followed by the sacking of head coach Bill Callahan made it a busy time to be a sports writer.
Couple that with the usual assortment of shopping frenzy stories and a weird outbreak of small fires around town and the newsroom was kept pretty busy.
Things are settling down now - at least until we really get into the Christmas season. Seems like everyone goes into a furious holiday baking frenzy so there’s always treats and nearly everyone’s got candy on their desks
It’s a good time of year to have a sweet tooth.
So, I’m sure by now everyone’s Turkey’d out, but we do have some good recipes for turkey over on our Simply Cooking site, so be sure to check those out. This week it’s Turkey Noodle soup. Mmmmm.
