Loading ...Crazy week
Thanksgiving always mean crazybusy time here at The Independent. Ad reps are moving doubletime getting ads, proofs, and content to the graphic artists; circulation is preparing to send out thousands of extra copies of the paper which means they have to bring in employee’s kids and other volunteers to rolld and bag them all late Wednesday night; The Internet team is working hard preparing ads for online and we are moving HuskersHQ Overtime to Wednesday this week since the game is on Friday; reporters are working furiously on their special holiday features along with their regular beats; and the pressroom is preparing to print all those extra copies.
Oh yes, I’m supposed to make sure to get the word out about HQ Overtime so if you skimmed the previous paragraph - HQ Overtime’s new show is on Wednesday this week. There will also only be one Newslink webcast on Friday since we’re pretty short staffed and George, out of the kindness of his heart agreed to come in on his day off to do the one in the morning 
I hope everyone enjoys this holiday week. The paper will be stuffing (ha! stuffing) the employees full of turkey and fixings on Wednesday, and with even more turkey and fixings to be had on Thursday, we may be a little loopy on Friday
