It is beastly hot in the newsroom. Apparently the heat has been cranked despite the fairly warm weather we’ve been having. The temp is not helped by the fact the some sort of generator broke in the server room so we’re using an industrial fan to keep it cool in there - which pushes all that heat out here in the newsroom.

Makes me glad I spent most of the day in the basement putting together the morning and evening Newslinks Walking down the steps is like descending into a deep freeze. I love it. Until we turn on the studio lights and then it’s insta-heat.

So volleyball was quite exciting this weekend. Congrats to GICC and ORD for bringing home state titles. And of course a big WOOT should go out to the the Huskers for kicking some Wildcat tails this weekend. We have awesome volleyball AND Husker coverage in the video player so check it out.
