HA! I need to protect the innocent in this case. Actually, that's me on the far right side of this cartoon. I do take my sketchbook with me when I am around the village and do some sketching of interesting people. At times they make an appearance in odd corners of the cartoon (unbeknownst tio them.)

Thanks Lopers 10. Louie was on the money with the Oklahoma game. He may be out of his mind, but he is always the eternal optimist. If Oklahoma could kick field goals, the Sooners would have ridden home on the Sooner Schooner with a victory. But Louie knew better than to doubt the Husker defense. They found a way to win.

I know so many former Nebraskans who want to return to the state, but they can't find a respectable job to support their families. These are people in California, Minnesota, Iowa etc. They miss Nebraska and the ability to raise their families here.

At the same time, I know even more people in the state that are looking for better jobs. It's all about jobs. $12 and $15/hour jobs will not grow the state.
